A R Rahman The Oscar Winner from India Year 2009
A R Rahman composed the soundtrack in the Slumdog Millionare and won himself 2 Oscars Awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for "Jai Ho".
Isai Puyal A R Rahman was born on January 6 1967 in Chennai, India. His father R K Shekhar, was also music composer for Malayalam films. Since young, A R Rahman was a keyboardist. His film career started in 1990. He is a film composer, record producer, musician and a singer too.
Besides film, Rahman has done serveral projects such as Vande Mataram album, Bharat Bala album, jingles for ads, orchestrations and etc.,
He has won several awards 13 Film Fare awards, 4 National awards 1 Golden Globe award and 2 Oscar awards.
